Problem Solver/Consultant at Alderville First Nation
Stephanie Zilinski is a member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, whose family attended the Indian Residential School in Spanish, Ontario via the Nipissing First Nation.
Stephanie is an Indigenous professional problem solver and hybrid consultant, who has demonstrated highly effective dynamic skills which are extremely adaptable to large and small organizations. She has worked over three decades in a variety of progressive positions in the Ontario government, working directly with a variety of senior executives including up to the Minister of Finance/Treasury Board. Upon leaving the Ontario government Stephanie has fulfilled her aspiration to work with a First Nation government and now works at Alderville First Nation as a Consultant on a variety of projects including the Nation’s UNDRIP policy and Energy Portfolios. Stephanie’s skills include expert business and financial analysis, policy development and implementation, Indigenous policy, program and training, strategic planning, and Treasury Board level business case analysis. She is an effective administrator and communicator with superior research abilities and who thrives on finding solutions to all problems.
