Gillian is a Team Lead in the Broadband Relationships Unit within the Broadband Programs Branch of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Gillian’s role includes working to fulfill the Crown’s Duty to Consult on broadband projects and policies and engaging with Indigenous communities on their preferred broadband solutions.
Gillian’s career with the Ontario Public Service includes working in Indigenous energy policy at the Ministry of Energy. Gillian also previously worked for the Government of Alberta in Indigenous women’s initiatives as well as intergovernmental relations. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo and a master’s degree from the University of Ottawa.
