Gen serves as the Business Operations Manager for Nipissing First Nation, bringing two decades of experience in communications and economic development. After seven years as the Nation’s Communications Officer, she transitioned to her current role three years ago, where she supports the Nation’s business ventures and partnerships, including the innovative Mnogin Greenhouse.
Motivated by a strong commitment to creating value and opportunities for Nipissing First Nation and its members, Gen focuses on building community capacity and fostering economic growth that aligns with the Nation’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
As a proud wife and mother raising two young Anishinaabe-kwe on Nipissing First Nation.
Gen is deeply humbled by her role. She is dedicated to creating sustainable opportunities that will benefit not only the current generation but also the next seven generations, in keeping with her community’s long-term vision.
